Look At These Ways Of Writing Lyrics For Fans For Longevity

By Chris Borg

Music is a language all of its own, without writing lyrics. No matter where you find yourself, music speaks to you, even though you may not understand the words. The mood is there, the feelings of joy or sadness still come through. Human beings have created noises for enjoyment, and also for communications, from beginning times.

Throughout the jungle in ancient times, primeval sounds could be heard. Primates used sticks, rocks or whatever else they lay hands upon, to bang on trees and rocks. They may have done this to show how happy they were but also as a method of deterring perceived enemies. Human beings added meaning to the rhythms.

Storytelling has been around since the dawn of the ages, being passed down from generation to generation. History was repeated in song. These were lyrics of a sort. Even without voices, beats and rhythms were danced to by natives everywhere. Music was a universal language long before it conveyed messages with words.

If you have stories in your heart and they need an outlet, write poetry and add notes at a later time. If lyrics is your thing, let someone else create the sounds to be associated with your words. Song writing can be done from either direction. As long as the words and music come together in a pleasing way, your story will be told.

Writers of songs can come up with the most awesome stories to tell. Many use their own lives as inspiration. When that is not possible, there are methods of revelation other than your own feelings. Looking around you and jotting down what you see, browsing through magazines and books, and watching people interact with one another can often lead to a chain reaction of words of expression.

Just one strange sentence is all it may take to get your creative juices flowing. Just a few words, may be all it takes for your own imagination to come up with an amazing tale of love, betrayal, or utter silliness. You don't have to worry about your words rhyming; they do not even have to make sense. What's important is to just start writing, and to keep writing.

Music artists are effective when they can bring enjoyment to others. Over the air waves, music travels to televisions and radios across the country, bringing people music to suit their mood. Both sides of this coin are necessary: those who enjoy writing lyrics and those who enjoy the resulting creation. This symbiotic relationship has been essential for music to endure as log as it has.
